The Alabama Trust for Historic Preservation (ATHP) is the voice for the future of Alabama's historic buildings, neighborhoods, and places.
                                                                         
This nonprofit organization was founded in 1987 to help protect Alabama's historic resources.
                                                                            
The ATHP is Alabama's only statewide historic preservation organization available for membership. A statewide partner of the National Trust for Historic Preservation, the ATHP also works closely with the Alabama Historical Commission.

Alabama Trust:

• provides lobbying

• offers a variety of educational and social activities
